Your Toddler Loves To Eat All Things He Grabs Except The Food You love Him To Eat

Raising Toddler: Meal And Snack Times

Be ready for anything worst, meal and snack time can be the most challenging task you will encounter raising a toddler. As much as you wanted to give him all the best he deserve, he’s just not up to it.

But don’t be discouraged, moms are created by God to teach His Creatures on how to live on this world. Moms, specifically, are given with that gift to nurture. So let your mother instinct drive you and you will never fail. You may also follow some suggestions listed below.

  • Your toddler should be encouraged to eat everything on their plates before getting anything else. Be sure not to overload his plate with foods, though. A rule of thumb is: a tablespoon of food for each year he gains.

Example: A 2-year-old toddler may have 2 tbsp each of meatloaf and mashed potatoes and 2 slices of apple for dessert.

  • Exercise an after meal routine.
    • First, wipe your child’s hands.
    • Say “Hands in the air,” and wipe his mouth and tray.
    • Then ask him to lower his arms, and ask him for a big hug and a kiss.

  • To keep kids from pestering you for candies and cookies every time you shop with him, give him apples, yogurt or any nutritious snack instead.

God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mothers.
